Love this coat! Super warm, great style, unique color. Very cool. Sizing runs big, went with a small when I’m a medium in basically everything. Hood is huge, maybe to accommodate ski helmets or something..?
AEM –
Great coat for my son. He loves that the wrist cuffs are large enough to accommodate ski gloves. Pit zippers, and sleeve ski pass pocket are nice touches. The zip out liner is perfect weight for use off the ski slopes around town. Not too hot, not too cold. He is six feet tall, 140 lbs, medium fit perfectly.

Too early to ask for a complete review. Ask me after I’ve worn it for a few winters. But it’s a drag that the main zippers don’t unzip from the bottom to allow comfortable sitting with the jacket on. Another chest pocket would be nice.

I couldn’t be happier. I was nervous with my size selection but the coat fits true to size. The interchangeable coat inside really insulates the body and keeps me warm. The material is of great quality and the overall look is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this coat to all of my friends.
Jeffery –
Like the versatility of having two jackets in one. Very light weight but warm.
Joe K –
Just had the coat a few days. It is light, warm and comfortable. So far it is wonderful.
Jeffrey G –
This is a really nice coat. Either as one unit or separate parts it has smart useful functionality. This one was for my 6’/180lb son with some room to grow and he loves it. He looks forward to wearing it in BC soon. I have the same coat and wore it at the top of Peak8 Breck and I was quite cozy in a whiteout. It has room for layering as well.
Zane –
Vibrant colors and warm coat. I would highly recommend this coat to other people.

This is the second Whirlibird purchased for my son. He really likes the Metal Geoglacial print and wanted the Interchange feature. It works great for the changing weather in the Pacific Northwest.
Dan35 –
Got this for a ski trip and it was perfect. One day started out at 5 degrees and climbed to 35 degrees and the coat was comfortable in both extremes with only a long sleeve tee shirt under.
Mark –
Great jacket that can be worn with the liner on those cold days or as a shell on the warmer days. Fits well and is reasonably priced against comparable jackets in the space.
Ftuncer –
My 3rd interchange jacket. It is light, warm and comfortable.

Bought this for a quick ski trip. Very warm and comfortable and I didn’t take it off for the entire trip. Very happy with this purchase. Just perfect

Great quality all the way around, especially the shell material; I really like the subtle texture which gives it a matte feel.

This jacket has everything! Very warm and water proof.
Steve W –
Love this jacket! Very easy to remove inside lining. Love the breathable fabric that keeps me warm and dry.
Bergsteiger –
Love this parka-ordered an XL for roominess. I’m 5’10, 175 42-44 and it’s perfect. Lots of features, warm during cold Colorado mountain snows (I’ve only used the shell so far this Spring), nicely fitting hood, pit zips, and the zip in jacket for those ultra cold days.
James –
Very good insulation and fit. Light weight, good for packing.
Cristian –
wonderful, I recommend it. Columbia is incredibile
