Cargo shorts in name only. Missing a major pocket. The ones there are are too small. And the shorts feel very flimsy.

I’m wearing these constantly for exercising and just hanging out. They’re exceptionally lightweight, very comfortable, and look good. The belt included is also a plus. I’m tempted to buy another one.

There’s the good…light weight fabric…perfect for hot & humid Florida. Nice deep pockets and extra pouch pocket on right leg keeps phone separate from keys and change. Fit is good and they are comfortable. The not so good…material makes almost a crinkling sound and they wrinkle badly. Hoping this may change a little over time & repeated washings…softening material and not as intense wrinkles.

Right belt loop not positioned close enough to zipper, rides above the shorts.

Bought two pairs and love theway they fit and feel!!

Really like the thinner fabric and length of these shorts. Pockets styles are also good. I’d buy again no question.

I know that the nice old stuff just isn’t being made any more. I am trying to replace an old pair of Columbia brand cargo shorts, & these are not the same thing. My old, much worn favorite shorts were about this same color, but made of an entirely different material. The old stuff is thicker & felt like soft, lightweight canvas. These new shorts are lighter weight, & the fabric is quite thin & has a water-resistant feeling. More like swim trunks. My old shorts had actual ‘cargo’ pockets on the side, which I like, (I realize they aren’t cool, but that doesn’t matter to me). These look more like cut down dress slacks. I haven’t started wearing them much, so still hoping they are sturdy enough for outdoor life. Actually, I will probably keep looking for some actual cargo shorts for next season.

Did order a size for tall man there too short unfortunately

The quality is very good, how I would like the long pants to have this quality. I will definitely order 2 more.

In the past, Columbia’s “all cotton” shorts have seemed more like poplin. These are very, very lightweight. Look is fine. Fit is fine. Color is fine. I just wish they were more substantial.

These shorts are extremely poor quality. I had them for less than a year. While squatting down to clean a cutting board in lake, the shorts split from the top button down to the hem of the leg. The fit was nice, and the shorts were comfortable, but obviously very cheaply made. I have another pair that I’ve had over 15 years that have held up wonderfully. Quality at Columbia has definitely gone down hill.

They work what I bought them for, The size is true to fit. It does take a lot of washings to get the “new’ out of them. Being advertised as cotton, I think that the “new” should wash out a lot quicker.

The jeans cut for the pockets gave me the impression they would tears easily, so I returned them.

Very thin fabric very light weight material it serms low wnd not columbia grade ar all also itsits low on waist and so show butt crack when you bend down
Kvk –
Pant material is very thin the pant is very light weighted and seems flimsy definitely not columbia grade product also its sits below waist and hence show butt crack when you bend

Great shorts, i justvcant find them so i am only giving 4 stars.

I should have looked closer to see they were cotton shorts. Was hoping for dry wicking polyester or nylon fishing shorts like other Columbia shorts and fishing pants I have. They are thin but appear durable and I am glad for that in the Florida heat. In spite of them being cotton I like them and they fit very nice, just right.

Compr estos pantalones cortos hace un ao y no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho. Es muy cmodo, se ajustan al cuerpo y la calidad de la tela es buena.
