Perfect for my daily biking commute! They keep me dry and are easy to slip on + off over my regular clothes.

Nice pants. Fit well and don’t make you look boxey or bulky. I took these to Iceland and wore then with long underwear underneath. I stayed warm and dry.

Poor quality all around. Material is noisy with movement. Since I have never before ordered waterproof pants, I had no history for comparison. Luckily, I ordered Adidas at the same time, and the Adidas are fine. I would never wear the Columbia.

I needed rain pants for our upcoming trip to Scotland. I ordered three different brands and these were the best by far. They don’t look bulky. Material is softer than other brands too. I am really pleased. Thank you Zappos for making my life easy!

I live in Portland, Oregon with cold and rainy winters and these pants have improved my life by a factor of ten! They are lightweight but absolutely waterproof and warm but breathable. I can still look slim in these pants alone but I can also wear a pair of jeans underneath and it does not look too bulky. These are helping me get through the winter with a smile on my face. Cheers!

If you are looking for a warm pant, these are not the ones. They are very thin. Other than that, they are nice pants. The fit is true to size. I am a size 6 or 8 and the medium fit me fine with enough room to put pants underneath. I only gave it 4 stars because of them not being warm.

This is a great pair of pants for any time of year. I used these places during snowzilla with a pair of leggings under and they were super warm and kept me dry.

Great pants. Will work great for the few times I venture to the snow. They are lightweight and comfortable. They make a bit of noise when you walk around, but not a problem in light of the price.

I was in search of a women’s pant I could wear out in the snow while playing with my kids, sledding or snow blowing at a reasonable price. Although this pant only seemed intended to keep you dry, I decided to order based on others reviews and the price. I had the chance to wear out in the snow for the first time. I must say I was impressed. It definitely did it’s job keeping me dry-excellent, but it did also keep me relatively warm. I wore these over my everyday, comfortable athletic pants and unless I was sitting directly in the snow I was warm. Now that I know this I will wear thermal layers underneath as well. I was also skeptical about how they would fit. I’m a size 16 and wasn’t sure if the XL would be big enough. Since size XXL wasn’t an option I went ahead with ordering the XL. They fit fine, even with a pair of pants underneath. A slight complaint would be though that while playing with my son, running, rolling in the snow, I had to keep pulling them up at the waist. A bit difficult to do when bundled up and with gloves on. Not sure if this was due to the material of the pants I was wearing underneath or the pant itself. Another small complaint would be the feel of the fabric itself. A little stiff, but I guess that’s what you get for being waterproof. Overall happy with my purchase. Although not intended for the snow, the pant did what I needed. Looking forward to getting back out on the snow with them.

Having recent,y moved to Idaho and having record snowfall this year, by the time I needed these, I knew they would all be sold out locally. I was so happy that Zappos had them with a good quality merchandise (Columbia ) for outdoor rugged activities and a good selection of sizes and the best price comparatively of anywhere. And free, fast shipping. My husband wore his on a mountain snowshoe trip and was very pleased. We will also wear them cross country skiing, and anytime it is snowing for our walks to the woods and the river. Thank you, Zappos!

Since I got these pants I haven’t had a chance to wear them in the rain. They are super comfortable. I ordered both a size small and extra small. The small was a little too big and the extra small was a little too tight. I decided to go with comfort and keep the size small. They aren’t the most “stylish” looking pants because they are quite baggy but I want to be able to pull them on over jeans and I feel they will do the job of keeping me dry. The length is a little too long for me because I have short legs (I’m 5 ‘4″ with a longer torso.) I wish they had elastic around the legs so the length could be adjusted. The elastic waist fits fine and I could easily pull them on. The smaller size was a struggle to pull on over my hips. I think they are good quality and priced right.

These are awesome for rainy weather travel or boating. Bought these for an upcoming cool/wet weather trip and though have not worn yet they are lightweight, pack nicely and go over jeans, long underwear or both. Look to be well made and there is a small velcro tab at cuff to secure over your boots/shoes. Loved that they were on sale, bought for myself and husband too in mens. They fit true to size for both of us, small for me 5’2″ and XL for hubby.

Love these pants and very warm to were on a cold day!

For my 60th birthday, I ran 60 miles on trails through snow, rain, freezing rain, and sleet. These pants kept my legs dry and with running tights under them, I was toasty warm. I don’t think I would have been able to be out in that weather for all those hours without these rain pants! They saved my run!
Jazz905 –
These pants fit well for reference I am 5’1 and 125 and the short/small fits me
Trisa –
These work great!!! Not too heavy for working up a good hike sweat and I am dry when I get done. The only draw back is the petite size is still too long for me (5ft 2in), so I sewed the velcro further back to make a tighter fit around the ankle and prevent from dragging on ground.
Liz F –
Very comfortable; sized perfectly; great for rainy sports events as it kept me perfectly dry the whole game.
Fish C –
These rain pants take a beating from me. This is my 4th pair over the years. I wear for “splash” with saltwater fishing and they are great!!!!
Marilyn K –
These rain pants are great! First time I have found rain pants in “short” length and they fit me perfectly!
Fmslake –
Exceptional wind pants serve to protect against wind, rain, the wear and tear from environmental field work, and our livestock. I can’t say enough about the durability and protection these pants offer in additional to keeping me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Simply amazing.
Pamela –
Just what I needed. Pants fit over my jeans so I can stay dry standing, walking & sitting

All my Columbia rain gear keeps me completely dry. I was on an Alaska cruise and spent one day walking in pouring rain thru the Tongass rain forest…others were very soggy when the got back to the ship but I was bone dry from head to toe.
Thomas P –
The pants are well designed to keep water out. The price is fair for a quality item.
Ssara –
Great waterproof outdoor pant. I work at an outdoor discovery preschool, as well as have children at home. These pants are perfect for everyday use to cover up so that I can get down and dirty with the kiddos. I’ve trudged through tall, wet grasses, sat in mud and sand, and been in wetlands catching tadpoles and these have kept me dry and clean. No tears or wear yet, and I’ve used them several times, so hopeful they keep strong.

Though I haven’t had a chance to test these on the trail yet, they held up great to several minutes of a shower test. Good fit, so happy to have a short option!
