Going to Vancouver with a forecast of rain every day. Overnight shipping was fantastic. I wear a size 18 and ordered both the 1x and the 2x. The 1x fit perfectly but I wanted to wear sweaters underneath the jacket so kept the 2x. It was not much bigger and did not look bulky at all. Very slimming. Kept me dry and was the perfect weight. Warm enough at 55 degrees; not overly hot while hiking in the mid 60’s. Love it!

Just as the other reviewers have said. Fits perfectly EXCEPT in the upper arms which are too tight. If I were to go up a size the rest of it would be a tent. Very bummed because the style and quality are otherwise on point and Columbia is normally decent for plus sizes.

Great jacket. This is my second in this style. I accidentally left my first one on a plane in Amsterdam. I’ve worn this jacket all over Europe, Hawaii and Alaska. Great wind and rain protection without feeling too hot.

I ordered two and am returning one and I dont remember which one I kept. BUT I am really tired of these nag-o-grams from Zappos begging “pretty please” for me to write a review. Pretty please is infantile. I’m 70, I don’t want to deal with begging emails. I have important things to do in the years I have left.

I wear a 2x in most jackets, this jacket was actually large thru the bust area but extremely tight in the armpit area. It was really weird! I read other reviews but thought I would try anyways. Sadly they were right! Arms are tight, more so the armpit is weirdly too small for the size of the rest of the roomy, almost bigger than a 2x jacket! Going back. Also, the jacket is crunchy, noisy!

I am rating this a 2 star item because of the fit. I typically wear a 1X or (sometimes) a 2X but NEVER have a purchased a 3X in my life. The 2X wouldn’t even zip. Because of this I won’t be buying a Columbia Rain jacket and will return and find something else on Zappos that is more true to size. Disappointed after being excited that Columbia had plus sized options. Oh well, they can’t all be winners I suppose.

This jacket fits perfectly and is not too hot or cold for walking the dogs this time of year. Zip pockets with netting hold the stuff I need on the walk and keep everything dry. Yellow color keeps me visible!

This is my second Columbia rain jacket and, like the the first one, this one did not disappoint! Well made and unlined for milder weather and I don’t get too warm in it like I have in other unlined water proof jackets. My only wish would be that Columbia would start making the arms a tiny bit larger because I could’ve gone down a size if it weren’t for that.

The arms are short. The sixing all around is off for the women sizes. A large mens fits better

These are my favorite jackets for weather from Spring into early Winter. They keep the rain, chill and wind away from your body, but are so breathable. I have them in 4 colors. (A teal color from early 2000’s and I still use it, plus it still looks good. ) Omni Tech is a must if you want weather protection without the bulk!

The dark blue color is beautiful and the jacket with the mesh lining is super comfortable. The Velcro at the zipper keeps attaching to my sleeves, but apart from that it’s perfect and I’m happy.
