I was worried this top may be hot in the sun but it wasn’t! The fit is great and there’s even a slit in the hood for a ponytail. I also love that the back is a little longer than the front. This top is exactly what I was looking for and I am about to order more! I’m 5’6″, 135 lb and a medium fits perfect.

Love this shirt. Not only is it cute, but it’s functional. It has a little sparkle to it (the deflector quality) that some reviewers said they didn’t like because it makes it look plastic like, but I don’t think it looks bad. If you zoom in on the picture of the product you can see what it looks like. In stormy blue, I think it’s a cute shirt. As for function, it works like a charm. I am pale by nature so to keep the sun off is amazing! I also have long hair so I love the pony tale slit in the back of the hood to keep my hair off my neck while the hood is up. Love this shirt! I’m planning on getting more!

Did you realize how awesome thumb holes are? Also the deflector silver gives you an unintended dash of glam. The pony tail hole was interesting to me at first, but the first day I wore it I felt the difference and didn’t have to help adjusting my hood. It’s comfy just like their other products. I love it. I’m normally a small everywhere, sometimes XS at Express, and this fits me pretty long. I can still put my thumbs through but it’s baggy.

I bought this for fishing in the summer. I burn very easily and this has nice, high-necked protection and is relatively cool to wear. I am a 2X woman and have the XXL, and it’s boxy and roomy enough to twist around in the canoe, and I like the thumb holes and ponytail hole (my little ponytail really prevents hoods from staying on). I have the dark pink version. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t wear it anywhere but on the water, it doesn’t win any fashion awards, but it’s perfect for sun protection on the water. I appreciate finding extended sizes.

The fabric on this shirt is a little odd – it has raised ‘dots’ and when I pulled it out of the package I was pretty sure it was going back…until I tried it on! I love this shirt! Comfortable with great sun protection. Medium fits perfectly for a 5’8, 150 pound lady.

I love this shirt! Since I realized how great hooded shirts are that’s all I want to wear now. It’s better than a big hat especially when the sun is low.
At first I thought the ponytail hole was silly but it’s actually great because my bun can help keep the hood in place and this type of small fitted hood can’t reach my face if there’s a bun taking up room. I understand why the hoods are fitted and it’s definitely better for windy days. I think it would be cool to have shirts with giant roomy hoods too though.
The reflective dots make the texture sort of like reptile skin, kind of shiny

I bought blue mcaw on my phone. It was a mistake, make sure to zoom in on the picture. It is described as “shimmery “, but it basically had Omniheat dots on the outside. When I opened my package, I thought they had sent me the wrong item. Maybe the lighter colors wouldn’t look as bad, but I am not even going to try to order a different one online.

NOT as described. This shirt was white, not blue. Not quite what I was expecting. This probably reflected everything and not just the sun. Material had an odd feel. Slippery almost.

This hoodie is excellent. I wear this to the amusement parks because it’s super lightweight and has sun protection. I don’t have to wear sunblock anymore. I just carry a travel size SPF spray if I decide to take the hoodie off.

I own several of these hoodies because they are perfect for all my outdoor adventures (backpacking, fishing, paddleboarding, etc.) They are lightweight and stay cool on hot days. I never have to worry about getting a sunburn because these do a great job at protecting my skin. They are easy to layer up, and I usually wear a shirt/tank underneath. Fit is perfect, I usually wear a medium/large and always buy a medium in this style. Definitely recommend this hoodie for all the adventurous ladies out there!
