I live in New Hampshire although I have spent most of my life in New York City I never thought I’d ever be so cold. The base layer has been amazing in keeping me warm in sub-zero temperatures.

The fabric is soft. The internal Omni heat is smooth and doesn’t irritate the skin. It is breathable.

I normally wear a Large and this garment fits snugly and thanks to the thumb holes, the sleeves stay put. The quarter zip allows one to vent as needed and is an excellent feature. Although the top is very light weight, the Omni Heat does performs as intended by trapping all available heat. Fantastic baselayer for active or sedentary events.

I really like the weight & fit of this base layer top. I’ve been living in the Rockies for a couple of years now & Columbia has become my “go to” base layer on most occasions. Keeps me nice & warm during some pretty extreme weather conditions. Fits under my outer layers nicely without being bulky & allows for a good range of motion. Definitely recommend this mid weight base layer top.
