Overall my son has liked this shoe. It is stylish and easy to put on and off. After a half year at school, they are pretty beat up at this point and I would’ve hoped they lasted a bit longer. The sole is starting to come apart at the bottom. The shoelaces don’t hold well, and they are always coming untied and the toe is coming apart as well. I know my 3rd grader is hard on them, but just judging baed on past shoe experience, I would’ve hoped for a little more longevity.

Currently size 11.5 and I ordered size 12. My girl can hardly fit the feet completely into the shoes. The shoe tie is short that she can only fit in half of her feet in without forcefully widened the opening. We really wanted to love it, but the sizing is way off. First time purchasing from Columbia and I am very disappointed, especially all the store in our State is permanently closed and will need to pay for shipping to return.

This shoe is very comfortable for my 6 year old daughter. She is picky about things being too tight on the tops of her feet and also on her toes, but this is snug without pulling or constricting her movements. She hiked and ran around on a mountainous terrain and these did great.

This is the THIRD time I have purchased this shoe – it’s great! We had a different color combination before, then moved up in size and bought this one. My daughter loves the shoe so much she asked for it again so I just bought the exact same one in the next size up. I love that it is a blend of a running shoe and a trail shoe . . . enough grip for the trails but also perfect on the basketball court and for everyday use in school. I highly recommend this shoe!

I was looking for the mid height shoes that I usually buy but none were available in my size. I wear a women’s size 71/2 and the big kids size 6 fits perfectly. I was worried about having enough side support in a lower cut shoe but these are just fine. They have great arch support which makes up for lack of support around my ankles. I’m 73 and I walk at least 30 minutes every day. Columbia kids shoes are my only walking shoes and I own four pairs of them. If you are older with bunions I highly recommend them. I used to just get a wide width in a women’s size but these are the best fitting and most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. Maybe some of you older ladies out there with smaller feet might want to try these out. I did change out the shoe strings for some black bungee cord fasteners and I think they look a lot better now.

This is the third pair of trailstorm shoes that I’ve purchased for my son. They are durable, grippy and comfortable. I’ve had to replace the laces with bungees as he’s not tying his shoes yet. You won’t find a better kids shoe at this price.

My 6-year-old daughter loves her new shoes. The second day she had them she wore them outside and got them completely muddy. Since they were new, she was upset. I gave her a sponge and some soapy water and she cleaned them up very well. Last weekend we went hiking and she wanted to stay longer so she could try out her shoes more. lol. I think that, especially with the sale price, they are a real bargain.
