Love right out of the box! I wear a women’s 7.5 wide because of bunions, so I have been trying Big Kid 6 shoes with moderate success. The Columbia Kids Bahama PFG (huh?) shoes are roomy, but not too loose, and lined inside so there is no abrasive stitching. The shoe is a little “deep” for me–the opening rubs a bit against my left ankle bone–so I added a thin cushioned liner from another pair of shoes that solved the problem. The back of the shoe has elastic gores that can be folded down to convert to a slide (like Olukai, but at half the price and twice the comfort).

I bought these shoes for my 8 year old son to wear as a little nicer shoe than his usual flip flops. He immediately liked them, which is not normal for him. He says they fit well and he can run around in them like normal. Wear and tear is good so far.

My son said these are comfortable enough (although his preference is for Crocs) when he’s forced to wear “nice” shoes. I like that they are slip ons so I don’t have to wait for him to tie his shoes when we are trying to get out the door. 🙂 They do soil easily though since they are fabric so keep that in mind.

I have twin boys with wide feet. They loved these shoes. They were roomy enough in the toe box to not rub. Easy to slip on/off. They’ve lasted a very long time- an entire school year and summer- which says a lot for kids shoes. These are far more durable than Hey Dudes. I would like to buy more in larger size, but it looks like they’re no longer available. Next to Olukai brand (which no longer makes kids shoes), I’d say these held up the best for my active boys.
