What a cute summer dress. But it runs small. I wear a 2X in everything except Columbia. Keep that in mind when ordering. I also don’t understand why it’s sun protection fabric with so much top skin showing. I guess you could wear a t-shirt under it… I ordered it in a larger size.

This is THE DRESS I’ve been looking for. Size 18, 5’2″, this is sooooo comfortable, cool, washes and dries easily, covers what needs to be covered, double bodice eliminates absolute requirement of bra. The patterns could be improved. I DON’T like the huge tropical patterns, and I returned one that looked too “red,white,and blue” to me. I can live with the other patterns, though. Now, the solid colored ones show off my lumpy belly, but the prints do NOT. PLEASE, columbia, find a way to put pockets in these, and they will be my only summer clothing! Three of these, and I’m packed for a week’s vacation. Awesome, awesome, awesome!

I love these dresses, the straps are a little long on me, but I have gotten the needle and thread thing down. I have some in 1X and some in 2X. I use the 1X when I want them a little more fitted, and the 2X at the beach, over swimsuits when I want it to be more loose. To alter straps, I turn inside out, sew it together about 2 inches, which actually shortens 4 inches out of the total strap (2 in front and 2?in back). Try it on and make sure the straps are to your liking. Then turn back inside out, cut across right above where it was sewn, then whip stitch it around the alteration.

Love it. Looks so much better than I expected. Looks like you can travel and dress it up when needed and casual and wicks away sweat when you need it. I am short so it hits well below my knee but that is fine. You can hem if you need it shorter. It is doesn’t hug the wrong places and that why is it is flattering.

I have purchased five of these dresses over the past couple years. I used them mainly as bathing suit coverups as I am around water a lot and want something easy to slip on that looks respectable. I also where them around the house and out running errands, but they are also nice for meeting friends at a restaurant for lunch. They are extremely comfortable and wash well. They probably would come out the dryer just fine, but I hang them up to dry and they look just like new. I receive many compliments whenever I wear them. I would say they run true to size, I’m a 2X.

I bought this dress to take to the beach for a family trip. It fits so well except for the neckline in the front. It is baggy and kind of lop-sided but I think I can try to fix it especially because it was on sale and is perfect for my trip. I saw where another reviewer had the same issue and my dress looks exactly like her picture!! Other than this, this dress is so cute and fits so well.
