I was looking for a reasonably priced waterproof shoe for our upcoming trip to Alaska. The Columbia Crestwood shoes seemed like a good option I typically where a 10.5 and ordered these in a 11 since it appeared they run a little small. Fit was good and shoes were comfortable for all of the walking we did but I didn’t use them for any serious hiking so I can’t gauge whether they would be useful for those types of applications.

I wear a size 12 in everything Iāve worn in the past 10 years or so. After reading the reviews about this being a little small, I ordered a size 13. Glad I did. Fits perfect. Very comfortable. Going to order another pair to have on hand.

I’ve had for about a week and really like so far. I bought as a cold weather shoe when there’s not enough snow / rain for boots, but a little rougher than normal casual or running shoe weather. Based on other reviews, I added half-size to my normal shoe size, and the fit is fine. It’s been a long time since I wore Columbia shoes, but I’m reminded how I liked my last pair. Great shoes, great value. Gray goes with my daily wardrobe of jeans / pullovers, with a slight splash of orange. I highly recommend.

Well… I’m here to tell you, I got these shoes just yesterday. Today was my first day to test drive them. Based on the comments of the other purchasers, I got 11’s instead of my normal 10 1/2’s. They fit PERFECTLY! The first day, breaking them in, I can happily say- It appears that they will work out well.

Once I got the right size (10D), it only took less than a mile to “set” it, wherein the soles and uppers are limbered up and flexing where my feet are flexing. After that, the shoes move smoothly with my strides. I like the styling. The tread is perfect for rocky terrain and dirt. Over asphalt and cement, I can feel the cushioning, which is perfect…not mushy and not hard, either. It absorbs hard landing shocks very well. I have not tried it over slippery rocks and streams, where any pair of shoes will slip and slide. One of the main reasons I bought the Columbia Crestwood is the waterproof feature. I will be using these shoes in the rain, over puddles, wet asphalt and mud. These shoes look good enough to wear to work, when it’s raining. I hate working in wet shoes and feet, and I don’t like carrying a pair of galoshes to work. The price is well within my budget, without any quality compromises.

I ordered an 8 1/2 it was too small this 9 seems a tad big. I honestly don’t think its the shoes I believe my true size is 8 3/4. The shoes are great and they will do just fine. Like my 5th pair of Columbia shoes and I love them all. The waterproof feature makes it great for long walks in the mountains and working in the garden as well. Not a brand snob but IMHO Columbia makes good stuff.

Shoes true to size a little sung on width with thick socks (hoping after break-in they feel a little looser), not sure if I should have ordered D width instead. Very well made and comfortable. Bought this shoes based on quality and long lasting ware of Columbia shoes that I have had in the past. I’m very hard on outdoor shoes, and no other named brands that I have tried come close to the ware and durability of Columbia.

I so wanted these to work. Ordered size 12. Toes touching. Tight toe box. Full size smaller. I never got off the carpet with them. Sadly out of stock now so I just will have to regroup. Great looking shoe, hopefully they will restock them (and restore sale price).

I bought my first pair in Colorado a few years ago and was glad to find them here at Zappos. I prefer a narrow last, and the Medium width on this shoe is perfect. Nice solid foundation for anything from Mountain Biking to afternoon hiking.

Bought these for my dad for Christmas. He loves them! The fit is great and he really likes the look and the traction. He has a wide foot, so purchased the wide width and went up a half size from his sneaker size (that tends to be a good rule of thumb for hiking boots from what I’ve learned). I had tried a different shoe first (returning to an online seller, at great expense, when they didn’t fit). Then found this shoe on Zappos. They were delivered to my dad very quickly and I didn’t have to worry. If they didn’t fit, Zappos could still get the right size to him before Christmas. In the future, will buy shoes from Zappos. They make it so much easier!

Great fit & feel. Very comfortable shoe for light hiking – both trail and paved paths. Only complaint is that shoes are not as breathable as I would like, but personal preference here.

a lot of reviewers mentioned they ordered a half-size up. I did. I think I would have been okay with an 11 instead of an 11.5. I will just wear thicker socks.

I was hard on the heel area over the first 10-15 mikes of wear. Otherwise it may have received 5 stars. I got them to wear in the wet and winter months to keep my feet dry on the long walks with dog through trails and puddles in the streets. Overall I am marking down due to the tears emerging on the outside. Received in September, knee surgery in October and I donāt think they will remain waterproof for the spring.

Fit and size were good. Very comfortable. Bought these due to being waterproof. The pair I received were not waterproof. I could walk in creek in other Columbia shoes. A short walk through wet grass-20ft- and your feet are wet
