Nice shoe at a great price. I typically wear a 10 and that fit fine in these. I am only returning because I have kind of a narrow heel, and no matter how I tried, I couldn’t get these to snug up right to keep them from slipping. I also like a lot of arch support, probably more than these provide, but had I been able to manage the heels, I would have kept them for sure.

I bought these for winter dog walks as Columbias are generally sturdy and warm. I’m a frequent Columbia shoe gal, but these are stiff and have very little cushion compared to other ones I’ve owned. For my purposes they’re worth keeping, but they’re not my favorite ones. Next time, I’d spend a few more bucks for some more cushion and style.

These shoes did not hold up well in the back. The inside material wore out exposing a plastic piece that makes wearing them uncomfortable above my heal.

I have worn Columbia size 7B in winter boots And so ordered these 7B but those were too small so had to return and get 7.5B which fit. So, order half size bigger.

I typically wear an 8 1/2 tennis shoe. Those were too tight but I quickly exchanged them for a 9 and they feel great. Can’t wait to try them out next week in Arizona.
The service was exceptional on the first order and reorder.

I bought a size larger than my regular size because I wanted extra room for thick sock and swelling in my feet. However they feel very comfortable, good sturdy sole. I haven’t used them for hiking yet, however.

Read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size bigger for me, it’s plenty! Thank you, reviewers!! The shoes are great. It’s summer, I’m wearing a slightly thinner sock, and the shoe still feels a little big, and wide, but I’m glad there’s room for when I need a thicker sock. Good looking shoes and comfortable!

This is a good shoe for the price. These shoes are very comfortable, and becauseI have wide feet, I was able to get a slightly smaller size in this shoe (size 8), than, say Nike where I have to get at least an 8 1/2. The arch support is moderate, but at least it is in the right part of the arch for me. The reason I am only giving 4 stars and not 5 is because these shoes wear out quickly. I am gentle on my shoes and have a pair of 14 year old (size 7) Chaco sandals that are in better condition (and have better arch support) than my 13 month old Columbia Crestwood hiking shoes. Be prepared to replace your Columbia Crestwood hiking shoes in a year. (Asic shoes are better made and will last for 2 years.) I just wish the Columbia Crestwoods were made to last longer. Having said that, the pair I just bought are every bit as comfortable as the pair I had since last year.

I loved the style and comfort, but after one month the soles became unglued and started to separate from the shoe. I didn’t want to return them because I figured they would be thrown out, so I spent the last year ‘Gorilla Gluing’ the soles back on. I love the brand enough to order again and hope it was a one time manufacturing fluke, but if they come apart again, will return.

Perfect for hiking through the woods and moderate terrain. Like other reviewers, I think they feel a little wider than a running shoe, so for a snug fit thicker socks are beneficial.

I love this sneaker and it’s my second purchase of this style. Last year’s purchase had the sole start to come apart within a month or two of wearing them, but this pair is much better. LOVE THEM! Plan on buying forever, so would be nice to see additional color choices added at some point. Ya know, just for me! 🙂

I really like these shoes! I bought them to use as hiking boots and walking shoes. They are very comfortable, but not very breathable. However, it is built really heavy duty so I don’t think I will wear these out any time soon. The laces were plenty long enough and after wearing them while shopping one day, I didn’t find any spots that rubbed.

These are really comfortable right out of the box. I am glad I read the reviews and ordered a half size up.
Anastazia –
These worked out perfectly!! They are almost as comfy as running shoes but felt more sturdy on the trail!! They were a slight bit big, but this was actually great since I can wear a pair of wool hiking socks and still not get any blisters!
Marj –
Overall, these are good shoes for the price. They do need more cushioning. The first time I wore them on a hike, I wore cushioned hiking socks with them but felt I needed additional cushioning. I plan to buy cushioned insoles for the shoes.

I wear 7-7.5 in dress shoes, purchased Crestwood Waterproof in 7.5 but returned. My big toe had some wiggle room but I didn’t want to risk losing a toenail. Haven’t lost one yet and want to keep it that way! ?Sold out of waterproof so bought basic Crestwood in gray and black size 8 which is a perfect fit with my favorite thick workout socks. Like the color, style and comfort! Suggest to upsize by 1/2 for maximum comfort.

The shoes themselves seem OK but I compared them to a pair of regular-width shoes that I ordered online from a distributor and they are exactly the same width. Disappointing.

I didn’t receive the right color but honestly it didn’t matter once I put the shoes on. Mind you, I went hiking in Breakneck Ridge in NY the day after I got these shoes and the didn’t need to be broken in! Super comfy and provides excellent support and there’s great traction for rock scrambling. I was a bit on the fence as to the size since I don’t order shoes online so measure your feet people!! (It helps pick to the perfect size when using the sizing chart).

The extra width in this shoe made the fit much better for me. It’s a “wide” width shoe, but compared to other wides I’ve bought, it’s not a real wide shoe. I could have used even more width in the toe box, but the shoe will work for me as is.
Mom4 –
These are the only hiking shoes I have found that have a large enough toe box to fit my feet comfortably. Finally my toes aren’t being squished or jammed when I walk/hike. The shoes aren’t very cushiony but do provide sufficient support for my feet. I have normal arches. You could always replace the insole if you need more cushion or support.

I love the colors and they fit well. The traction is not as good as my old pair though. Overall satisfied

Great pair of shoes, but I did not find them wide as advertised. Could not get my foot into the shoe. For those with narrow feet, these would be a great pair of shoes.

Bought these for a trip to Sequoia/Kings Canyon and Yosemite NP, didn’t even need to break them in… we’re super comfy and supportive from day one- not a single blister. Granted we didn’t do any crazy hikes, maybe 5 miles the longest- but they held up well. I prefer low cut hiking sneakers to boots, mostly because I’m not doing crazy hard hikes in them.

Very comfortable walking shoe. Moderate arch support. Sole is flexible enough, not too stiff, for comfort.

Good looking shoe, sort of. The shoe did not feel like a Wide which it was supposed to be. There were also flaws with the fabric at the tops of the toes as if the stitching was too tight so the toes on both shoes peaked up.
