Very small for size.

Comfortable and warm. I typically wear a 10.5 in Nike, but had to get a 12 with these boots and they’re still snug.
Ricky –
Great protection from cold and wet. I’ve been wearing these hiking in pretty deep snow in Siberia. Toes stay warm and dry.

The boots fit since I have started buying a half size larger. The insole seems comfortable but I think the arch should have a little more support. One thing I didn’t like is that the top eyelets are just that, eyelets, I would prefer hooks for easier on and off.

I have had a previous generation version of this boot, and while they are warm, and comfortable, they are NOT waterproof. Maybe Columbia have fixed the problem by now, but I doubt it. They are probably using waterproof materials, but fail to utilize waterproof construction methods, leading to leaks at seams. Useless in rainy conditions found in the PacNW where I live…

It is really waterproof but they are cold. 0 celsius is comfortable, but on lowes temperature is not warm.

There run very small!! Can’t comment on the comfort when the fit is so off.

I bought these boots 2 years ago and only wear them to shovel snow 2-3 times a winter and minimal use around the yard in November and December. The last snowstorm of shoveling a few inches of snow I noticed that the top of my feet felt wet. On inspecting the boot I noticed the the rubber part of the boot that meets with the seem is cracking! I don’t know how Columbia can put their name on this boot. I will be going back to Sorel’s.

If you need a Boots for one season this is a good one, on second year it will fall apart

This boot is pretty substantial in its physical appearance. This doesn’t really come across in the stock website photos. That, coupled with 200g thinsulate lining should make for a super toasty boot or so you’d think. Personally I am not really impressed with the “warmth” that these provide over an extended period in colder temperatures.
I first used these during the Buffalo Blizzard of 22′. At which point I was out shoveling and snow blowing for 30-45 minutes at a time before having to come in to warm my hands (and to a lesser degree my feet). But I was really surprised that my feet started to get cold when out for such a short time. Granted the temps were in the teens.
I also found that with the large size of this boot makes driving my 4Runner dangerous because the boot rested on both the gas and break pedals. So I will not ever recommend driving in them if you have large feet (14).
On the plus side the boots are super comfy, very well made and the grippy sole saved me a number of times while tending to the snow which made the boots worth the purchase.

The stitching came apart already. Only a few months old & are coming apart at the seem. It was a concern my husband had when he examined them but once he put his foot in the boots they were sooo comfortable so he was hoping they would hold up. Unfortunately they didn’t These are the only boots that has the perfect arch support he needs to work most of the day pain free.

I have had my boots for a couple of years. They have not been abused. Today, the left boot has catastrophically failed. The rubber bottom split nearly 360 degrees around the boot, exposing the insulation inside. I will be buying winter boots from another company.

I bought these 2 years ago. Today was the 3rd time I wore them. Complete separation of the suede from the rubber portion of the boot. These were kept in a closet inside the home. Will not buy Columbia foot wear again.

I have been wearing the Bugaboot since they came out with the original. I have liked them all. These are just as comfortable at all the rest. I wouldnt change a thing. If they would bring back the lower boot option would be great, they I would have both pairs.

Excellent boot for work. I work in manholes with ankle deep water almost every day. I work 10-12 hour shifts on my feet. This is the first time buying the Bugaboot and so far I’m extremely satisfied. They broke in easy. The support and stability are amazing. My feet are warm, dry and pain free. I know it’s a hiking boot but it’s an awesome work boot.

These boots are amazingly comfortable, they fit true to size and keep my feet warm from the moment I put them on. Since they fit about half calf high, I’d recommend not to tie the laces too tight, since it restricts a bit the leg movement, but as soon as you find the right fit you won’t want to take them off, they are waterproof, warm and comfortable to keep on all day long.

I ordered the boots for a trip to Alaska, but I found them to be so comfortable and warm that I started wearing them right away! Great boots and a good value.

Very warm and comfortable ,this is my second pair and will definitely get another pair

I bought these for my husband who has to work outside in snowy and cold conditions. He is also very tough on shoes. These hold up way better than anything else we have tried. He loves them and we always get a new pair when he wears them out

Haven’t tested it in the snow yet, but true to size and appears to be well made.

One week after receiving these boots was able to give them a try. We got 17 inches of snow. Kept my feet warm and dry while shoveling. Quality is good. Would recommend them.

Been buying these things for years. They never really need to be replaced, I just can’t pass them up when they have the 50% sales. Your feet will stay dry and warm no matter how deep they’re buried. Everyone should have a pair.

Walked all throughout Iceland and Poland without issues whatsoever. Width may be a slightly little over what is stated but I have extra wide feet, so that was a plus.
Really comfortable during ice showers or hail.

My husband loves his new boots.
