After my husband got the men’s version of this jacket from Zappos and liked it so much, he encouraged me to get one, too. I really like it. I am 5’5″ and 120 lbs. and bought the size M. I like a little extra room, but it is definitely not too much. It’s a good length, the hood fits well, red color is very pretty. I’ve worn it twice walking in steady rain, and it has kept me dry. For the price, this is a great jacket. Zappos is such a good place to buy from.

This is a great coat and a great value. I was debating between this and the North Face, but chose the cost efficient option and am glad I did. Great color and it works really well in the rain. The coat is sized comfortably. I am always a Medium and got the same size with this. I probably could have gone down to a small, but it’s nice to fit warm layers under since the coat is not lined with a warm layer.

Great jacket! I ordered it to take with me on a trip to Medellin, Colombia and it was perfect for the rainy weather there. Lightweight, easy to pack and didn’t wrinkle having been packed in a suitcase. The color is a vibrant red and feels like a fun twist on a classic color. The medium fits me perfectly (5’7″, size 6-8) . Does not make that crinkly noise some windbreakers tend to. The liner is nice and the pockets are great. This jacket can be athletic depending on what it is worn with, or simply casual.

Love this jacket, it was exactly what I was looking for: a thin windbreaker. Can wear a sweatshirt under it if need extra warmth. The model pictures were accurate. I was deciding between an XS and S. There was pictures of the same model in both, which helped me decide to get the more fitted XS instead of S.

I bought this jacket for my daughter and myself for a trip to Ireland. It was perfect! Kept us comfortable in the wind, rain and cool air. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

My Columbia Arcadia 11 jacket was the perfect item for me to take on vacation to N.H. So easy to pack, & came in handy for the rainy day while on tour. Its light weight was a blessing too. Thank you Zappos for the quick s&h as well. Zappos knows how to please this 82 year old lady.

I have previously owned a North Face venture rain jacket and I found that this one has a more feminine cut while still allowing for layering. Can’t beat the price for the quality.

I loved it! It is a great jacket. I am 5’3″, 133 pounds, 34C and purchased the size, Small. It is possible to wear a few layers underneath this jacket. It looks perfect.

Great jacket, not too noisy. It just didn’t fit me. XS seemed to fit well enough but sleeves were a little long (happens to me often in coats), the XS jacket had room all over for a fleece underneath. But the armpits were to tight for me, even without the fleece. I am 125 pounds, 5’5″. I tried the SM and it was too big all over, and the armpits were a little tight too.

This coat is exactly what I was looking for – very light weight and protects against rain and wind. I bought the white color and it looks very nice. As a bonus, the inside is grey – even by your face. Perfect for ladies that wear makeup and are worried about it transferring onto the white coat. Only cons: it’s shorter than I really wanted (doesn’t cover my butt) and my keys get caught in the mesh lined pockets. Other than that – it’s perfect. I’m 5’7″ and 170lbs. The Medium is a perfect fit.

Before ordering, I read reviews to try to get best sizing. ordered xs, was no extra room, also had clearly been worn because there was a used Kleenex/napkin wadded up in pocket and all tags had been removed. returned and ordered S, better fit and tags were on jacket. Much better

Good quality jacket, nice roomy fit suitable for layering. Compared to The North Face Venture 2 in the same size, this Columbia jacket has a longer torso and longer arms. Its upper arms are also narrower. The Columbia jacket has an inner mesh lining where the Venture 2 does not. After comparing the two, I am returning the Columbia jacket mainly because its arms are too long. I would need to fold about 3-4” of cuff backwards in order to make it fit well. If you have longer arms or torso this jacket would probably be perfect.

This Jacket wasnt what I expected. It isnt good for spring weather at all. Definitely not fit to wear during 50 degrees. Its very thin and noisy. I didnt send it back as I should have. JUST didnt want to go thru the hassle of going back to the post office. I wouldnt buy anything like this again.

Simple, practical, and true to size. Nicely finished, and feels like a quality item. I needed a new, basic rain jacket because I was tired of pulling my old anorak over my head when wet. I wanted a rain jacket that zipped down the front and with a hood sized so that it kept my head dry without blocking my vision. This jacket ticks all my boxes. Recommended.

Cheap, flimsy, poorly sewn. I cannot believe Columbia puts it’s name on this jacket. I am horrified that they had the nerve to sell this jacket. It is not worth $10 never mind $60!!!
I bought a $50.00 raincoat for my dog that was made exponentially better than this.

The size small was too tight for me in the hips and I wear a size 8 in jeans. The size medium had enough room in the hips however the jacket is made in a longer length and sitting down in it was not comfortable unless you pull it up when sitting which I do not want to do. This style does not have any zip vents as some do. The tag says breathable but the fabric isn’t as breathable as the Marmot precip jackets are. I actually felt a little clamy with it on. It is a nice jacket and more reasonably priced than Marmot but Marmot takes the lead for me having a more breathable fabric and zip vents under the arms.

This Arcadia II jacket seems like it is going to be great. (I haven’t had a reason to wear it yet.) The waterproof feature is made more comfortable with the mesh lining since it provides a layer between skin and the rubber-like underside of the jacket fabric. Thus, the jacket can be put on or taken off with ease even if the wearer is hot. I gave it only four stars because the hood does not fold into a collar. BEWARE of the inconsistent sizing of the Columbia jackets. I bought a Switchback III at a local brick and mortar store and the Arcadia II and a Splash A Little II at Zappos, all in XL. The fit is different in all three jackets. The Arcadia II fits comfortably and as expected. I am keeping it. The Switchback III fits, but just barely. It gets returned. The Splash A Little II won’t even close around me! Obviously it also gets returned. I think it would be helpful to their customers for Columbia to make their jacket sizing consistent.

My husband and I bought Columbia rain jackets for our trip to Iceland on a bit of a splurge for our budget, and we did not regret it. All I can say is that this rain jacket performed as well as any rain jacket up against those odds could. It was totally awesome. The only time it started to give out was when the rain combined with 30mph wind was basically sending stinging water bullets at us. Other than that I used it up to 5 hours at a time in heavy rain and it was just barely starting to get a bit waterlogged by the time we got out of the rain. It is super fast drying (we had only the confines of a camper van to hang clothes in), and works fabulously as a windbreaker. Overall, I would 100% buy this again in the same circumstances. The light blue color was so pretty!

I was so happy when I got this jacket. I bought it because the description said it was waterproof (not resistant, but waterproof) in drizzle or deluge. I am currently (spending 64 days) in the Amazon jungle and wanted something waterproof and lightweight because of the humidity and I have to carry a lot. I used it multiple times in the elements. However, yesterday I was caught in heavy rain for about 30minutes and the water went through the jacket and I was soaked. So…for light rain this jacket is great but for heavy rain, it’s not great. Slightly disappointed but will still use it for other occasions. 🙂

This is my third purchase of this jacket. I’ve had a white one since 2017 and it is my go to jacket. It’s lightweight but really keeps you dry and cuts the wind. They always stay looking brand new. I got a light blue and a light green, too. I hope to have one of every color. I always get compliments when I wear them.

Great summer rain jacket in a great color. Helps block the wind and keep you dry.

I ordered the medium. I am a size 8 and it was perfect. Very lightweight yet warm. Taking it hiking with me in Europe in just a few weeks. I love that is packable but a nice layer. If it gets chilly.
